Steven Burt

Burt's "Digital Shakespeare" project spurs students' learning of Shakespeare by requiring them to construct a multimedia presentation based on one of his plays. The students break the plays into different scenes and using digital cameras, recording equipment and other computer technology, craft a presentation. By designing original presentations, students develop their critical thinking and communications skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the Bard's works.
