Stephen Lovelace

Lovelace's Oil Industry project enlisted the help of a petroleum engineer to develop a problem which the students could use to enhance their algebra skills. Using graphing calculators, students predicted the future production and earnings of the industry. The project helped the students with their math skills by incorporating a hands-on project which required a number of steps to complete.
