Mark Tondryk

Tondryk's "Coronado Wellness Facility" is a program designed to further incorporate wellness and sports medicine into the school's academic curriculum. The program provides students with an overview of a variety of health and medical-related jobs, along with an understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue those careers. Students in the program will study areas including personal diet, exercise and health issues, and will learn to conduct fitness testing, progress monitoring and wellness promotion. Learning about how the body works on both an anatomical and physiological level, students will have the opportunity to pursue CPR and first aid certifications as well as college academic credits. Along with the intellectual benefits, the program's focus on personal fitness and wellness is designed to help students carry their knowledge into a lifetime of healthy choices.
