Cooper's "Living in Space" project gives students a chance to utilize different skills by spending a day in space. The students participate in a space simulation that requires them to work in teams to complete specific tasks. Some students study the growth of plants, some look at crystal formations, and others create a myth to describe a new constellation. The project helps students incorporate math, science, writing and teamwork skills into a fun learning experience.
