Critical Illness Insurance pays a lump-sum benefit upon the diagnosis of a covered disease or condition such as a heart attack or stroke on or after the coverage effective date. For employees, it’s a cost-effective way to help them protect against the financial impact of a covered illness.
Critical Illness/Specified Disease Insurance is a limited benefit policy. This is not health insurance and does not satisfy the requirement of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act. This is guaranteed issue coverage, whether it’s elected during the initial enrollment or in the future. Pre-existing conditions may apply.

Voya Protect® is a robust supplemental health insurance solution that’s designed to complement traditional health insurance. Built-to-be-used, benefits are paid out quickly and easily when covered medical conditions are diagnosed — and can be used to help pay out of pocket monthly bills, medical costs and more.
Voya Protect is a group limited benefit insurance policy. This is not health insurance and does not satisfy the requirement of minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
