Wrayna Fairchild

Fairchild’s innovative teaching program, “Growing From the STEM Up,” involves converting her teaching space for 5^th and 6^th grade into a top-notch STEM Lab designed to inspire students to engage in STEM activities for years to come. The Voya grant funds will help her update the learning space that is currently a traditional classroom, with old tables, a small library and a whiteboard. Fairchild envisions a space that will encourage collaboration and give students the space they need to design innovative solutions to real-world problems.
