Willene Agnew

Agnew's "The Preservers" program trains students in the techniques of transcription of documents dating from 1786 to 1945. The documents cover a variety of topics from personal letters to legal documents. A booklet is made of the transcribed documents to share with the school and the community. In addition to improved communication skills, students become much more aware of their community's history.
