Virginia Staugaitis

Staugaitis' project is designed to promote the acquisition of a second language for pre-school and elementary students. Children serve as "readers" of early childhood literature books, which are available in both English and Spanish, and are recorded on audio cassette tapes. Books and tapes are made available for lending to students in grades K-2 and to children enrolled in the local Head Start program.
