Tyson Sigette

Sigette’s innovative teaching idea, “out-FOX-ing the FUTURE,” focuses on creating a new Fox Technology Lab with two purposes. It will serve as the learning center for the current Advanced Computer Science courses and the new Cybersecurity course. Fox High School is the first high school in the area to offer a dual-credit course in Cybersecurity, a fast growing and high-demand field. Students will learn how to defend cyber-property effectively by practicing a variety of attack vectors on virtual machines using the same tools used by professionals. Cyberseek.org shows that the St. Louis region is in need of cybersecurity professionals and this technology lab is designed to provide students with a dedicated space where they can hone their skills.
