Timothy Tuttle

Tuttle's project, Skull Island, incorporated geometry, biology, language arts, and a social science to teach students to be effective communicators, responsible citizens, and good problem solvers. The project required students to imagine that they were stranded on an island for one year. To 'survive', students were required to solve complex problems that a changing society would face.
