"The Arts Arrive!" project created by Vore is designed to give students at Hamilton Middle School an opportunity to meet artists, writers and musicians face-to-face, up to once per month. The objective is to showcase the arts at the school to help motivate students to read and appreciate and explore their own creativity. Experts in the arts will be commissioned to visit the school and spend time with students by grade level. In addition to the personal visits, students will also be able to participate in other activities related to the visits. During their daily advisory period, students will read aloud from novels, have book discussions, read artist biographies, practice artistic techniques and partake in other creative celebrations. In the end, the comparing and contrasting of artists and their accomplishments will hopefully inspire students to pursue their most creative artistic ambitions. Vore resides in Hamilton.
