Sylvia Caldwell

Caldwell's "PJES Hands-on, Minds-on Science Lab" allows all students to engage in age-appropriate activities that link science and language arts through technology. The lab includes 10 different creative-based learning stations where students can investigate the effects of acid rain, discover how a rocket engine works, or transfer electrical reactions from lemons to potatoes, and they maintain a daily journal recording their activities. Students learn science concepts and use critical thinking and writing skills.
