Popelka's "Building a Math Lab - One Block at a Time" project is a collection of technology-based materials that encourages learning by presenting math lessons in interesting and varied ways. Through the project, students experiment and conduct measurements, then organize and analyze their data, using hands-on experiments to demonstrate traditional math skills. Experiments include analyzing sinusoidal waves using sound waves, observing inverse-square relations using light intensity, and exploring the exponential nature of cooling liquids. The project promotes interactive learning and creative thinking and allows students to learn math by using real-world situations.
