Paul's innovative Family Learning Center (FLC) allowed families to use educational materials and equipment otherwise reserved for classroom use. Located in the school library, the FLC supplied games, flash cards, books, tapes, videos, and other supplies for checkout. Parents used the items to help educate their children with tools that were not cost-prohibitive. It increased family learning and children gained responsibility for the safe return of the materials used.
