Sharon Bryan

Bryan's project provided students with an interesting, demanding, and rewarding means to improve their communication skills as an alternative to the traditional English course. Instead of spending most of their time in the classroom, students ventured into the community, seeking interesting people with unusual skills or fascinating stories. The students recorded these interviews, translated them into a written story, and published a magazine via the Internet.
