Weber's "Ecology Study and Forensics to Teach Critical Thinking" project is a two-part program which teaches students to use scientific methods and critical thinking to solve real-world problems. In the first part, students participate in a year-long ecological study in which they conduct various experiments for later analysis. In the second part, students take part in a crime scene investigation where they explore the various disciplines of forensics, such as fingerprint and handwriting analysis. The project teaches students the value of critical thinking and how it relates to problem-solving.
