Gregg plans to expand upon an existing program called "Generations in Harmony." The program, which is a joint venture between students, staff, and senior citizens in the Litchfield community, was conceived as a way to link retired citizens with the at-risk students at Campbell High School. Now in its second year, "Generations in Harmony" now benefits 14 students, some of whom had previously dropped out of school but then decided to return and participate in the program. Some of the key program objectives are to personalize learning for each student and to create a flexible learning environment for at-risk students. With courses like "Living in the 60's" and "Toastmaster: Becoming Confident at Speech Writing and Delivery", students have a unique opportunity to experience learning through seasoned community members and to earn a half of a course credit for their efforts. With the availability of additional senior citizens, teachers, and equipment, Gregg believes the program will benefit even more members of the community. Gregg resides in Weare.
