Evan's "Automotive Technology Revised for a Higher Level of Understanding" program allows students to work through a series of several different automotive projects, including a comprehensive hands-on course. Students focus on four different areas throughout the quarter, including engine overhaul, engine performance, chassis and alignment, and drive trains. Working individually, in pairs and as a team, students use the first five days of their time in a specific unit to focus on bookwork, and the remaining 10 days to work on actual vehicle repairs. Throughout the quarter, students not only get to work with a modern vehicle, but have the opportunity to work at their own pace in a multimedia learning environment.
