Rebecca Mallatt

Mallatt's project enhanced positive home/school interactions between kindergarten students and their families. Children took home a stuffed bear and wrote in its diary about their homelife. The diary and bear were exchanged with a class in Australia. Students learned about other countries as well as developed writing and communication skills.
