Pauline Staski

Staski's Community and Oral History project gave at-risk students the opportunity to research and record the history of their community. In cooperation with New Mexico State University, the students learned linguistic and oral history skills, which helped them interview, record and translate into English, their interviews with local community members. The program was designed to develop the language, research and technical skills.
