Marinac combined technology science classes by utilizing a computer module that allows students to undertake activities related to the environment. The students developed a plan to clean up an on-site school dump and renovate the area, returning it to its native habitat. Students learned about ownership and team work, as well as academic lessons related to the connection between human activities and the environment.
