Patricia Cook

Cook's "Birds and Butterflies" program brought fourth- and fifth-graders together to develop a habitat outside of the school for butterflies and hummingbirds. Students researched and studied all aspects of what is incorporated into an ecosystem. The students gained skills ranging from teamwork to communication while reinforcing biology and science curriculums.
