Haley's "Project Yearbook" is a project in which limited English proficiency students incorporate photography, expository writing, interviewing, computer technology, and organizational skills to create personal yearbooks. Students write essays with subjects like My Favorite Teacher, My Favorite Class, and 20/20 Vision, compose their own school song, and create a cover page using computer graphics. At the end of the project, the three most creative yearbooks are published by the school's Communication Magnet Program. The project not only enhances the students' English skills but also provides an opportunity for creative expression and communicative practice.
