Stutsman's "Bored vs. Board" project uses a device called a whiteboard to make daily classroom activities come alive for students. The whiteboard's technology allows students to show their work in a presentation format and gives teachers the ability to post student work on class Web sites. The whiteboard allows students to demonstrate computer programs more effectively and gives them the opportunity to practice large group presentations in a fun way. In addition to exposing students to cutting-edge technology, the project also encourage parents and other community members to participate in the use of fun new learning tool.
