Michael Lampert

Lampert's P.I.P.E. project gave high school students the opportunity to teach elementary students. The high school students presented an experiment to elementary students, who conducted their own experiments the following week. Then, using fax, e-mail and computer video links, the elementary school students would ask questions concerning their experiments. The program provided the high school students a chance to learn physics by teaching it, and it helped increase the elementary students' interest in science.
