Megan Clegg

Clegg’s innovative teaching idea, “Vet Science Lab,” is focused on improving the new Vet Science Program at Northwest High School by setting up a proper lab that includes microscopes and blood work equipment specific to this focus of study. This program is part of the school’s agriculture program, which uses state mandated standards that require students to complete hands-on experiences in order for them to receive credit of completing the class. The school is located in a rural part of Clarksville where many parents and students want to see the agriculture program grow. Clegg believes this project will bring pride to the students, school, and community.
