Linda Gatlin

Gatlin's "Biobuddy BioFest" teams high school biology with junior high students. The high school science mentors review and edit the science journals of the junior high students that contain conclusions and other data from experiments completed in class. The project culminates in a BioFest produced by the high school students for the community. In addition to providing leadership opportunities for the older students that applies to their learning, it promotes science at the junior high level.
