Gitter-Skow created a program designed to stimulate growth in childrens' listening skills and vocabulary. Through in-school sessions with a storyteller and related activities, students were immersed in all aspects of the English language. In addition to a "Readers Theater" and oral penpals, students showcased their skills at a parent assembly.
