Superintendent Zavada, along with Dunn, plans to implement an interactive theatrical presentation titled "The Story of Liberty: A Traveling Timeline" that can be replicated by students nationwide. The objective of the program is to help foster an appreciation for the origin of our nation's liberty and the beauty of theater arts. By allowing students at Wolford Public School to research, write and perform a Renaissance Fair type of production that begins with the Magna Carta in 1200 A.D. and ends with the establishment of our nation, it is believed students are more likely to find history interesting and relevant to the world around them. A reproducible theater kit including a set made of PVC pipe, adjustable costumes in three sizes, scripts, music, and supporting materials, is planned. The timeline showcase could be performed at other schools in an effort to enhance their knowledge of government, history and citizenship through the ages.
