Laraine Middleton

Middleton's "Clay Studio" project gives 60 alternative education students the opportunity to learn valuable skills through the use of clay. Students learn how to make clay pottery, which they sell to the community. In addition, students learn to write business and marketing plans and how to use a computer to keep track of their accounting.
