Kerry Andersen Cusick

In Cusick's "Mathematical Magicians Across the Curriculum" program, fifth-grade students will learn how to integrate mathematical tasks with other subject areas, including reading, writing, science and social studies. They will discover how to use clue words to aid in comprehension and problem solving. Cusick will also incorporate various genres of reading material into the math curriculum, including poetry, nonfiction and fiction. The goal of this program is to increase mathematical performance among students and improve their reading comprehension. Cusick is a resident of Oxford, MA.
