The team’s innovative teaching idea, “Cameras in Classrooms,” focuses on helping students who are absent stay on track for their classes by installing cameras in core-curriculum classrooms. Due to a recent rise in the number of students who struggle with anxiety and depression at Green Canyon High School, in addition to physical illness, the streaming and recording of classroom lectures will enable these students to receive an entire missed instruction instead of copied notes. This student-led initiative will also provide students from a website design class with hands-on technology experience.
