Katherine Johnson

Johnson's "Family Stories" project consists of historical narratives in which students or their relatives are featured characters in simple home adventures. Students write the stories with the assistance of parents or other adults. Children learn to appreciate their own heritage and develop respect for the cultural values and experiences of others.
