Milan, MI
Milan High School

Mossburg's "CSI-Milan" winning program involves a problem-based approach to learning human anatomy and physiology. Students at Milan High School will evaluate forensic case studies and use the Anatomy in Clay® Learning System to learn important medical, forensic and health concepts. During the school year, students will be given case studies that will integrate main ideas for anatomy and physiology of each body system. Through the program, the students will learn all of the systems of the human body and use human models to provide a unique experience for learning the body. Students will also learn the use of critical thinking and problem-solving skills to predict anatomical and physiological changes to the body where there is an injury or disease. Participating students will make connections between the areas of medicine, forensics and health and their applications within the human body. Mossburg lives in Britton.
