Julie Brunner

Brunner's project transformed students into scientists as they made observations, asked questions and found answers in an outdoor classroom. Students video taped research projects, used the Internet to share data with schools across America, and took part in a live video conference with a scientist in Antarctica. Students improved critical thinking and science process skills.
