Julia Davis

Davis' Portable Keyboard project helped introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of word-processing and to improve their writing skills. The project also allowed students that did not have computers in their homes to check out a keyboard to bring home and practice with their parents. The program even inspired the local public library to circulate a collection of portable keyboards.
