Jolene Erickson and Brooke Schneider

Erickson’s and Schneider’s innovative teaching idea, “Night at the Museum Project-Based Learning about ND,” focuses on the four Cs of the 21st century skills: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. The project partners with a local museum to provide information to the public about the role of North Dakotans in the history of America and the impact these individuals had on the state of North Dakota. With the Voya Unsung Heroes Grant, Erickson and Schneider will expand their project to include other modern influential people in North Dakota to continue the focus on the history of their state.
