Johnnie Griffith

Griffith's project utilized resources within the community to motivate students and parents in the areas of mathematics, science and technology. Utilizing both mentor and peer-tutoring, mobile-learning, hands-on experiences and diverse teaching strategies, students participating in the program had an increase in test scores and behavior and a decline in the drop-out rate.
