Enge's "Real World" program allows his fifth grade students to develop practical skills related to gaining employment, financial responsibility and job duties. By redefining the boundaries of the classroom to act more like a business setting, students receive a salary that's based on attendance and quality of work, manage online "mock" funds and shop each week for school supplies and special items. Further, Real World is designed to give back to the community through the students "employment"
