Jo Beth James

James' project is a continuation of a school yard wildlife habitat which now consists of a butterfly garden, rock wall, and historic trees. The project includes planting a bird garden and a recycling program where students use school and home waste to make compost for use in the habitat. Students learn how compost is made, how the environment can be saved by recycling, and how to care for the environment.
