Jeremy Rekich

Rekich's "Animal Rehabilitation" project is a collaborative effort with the Tamarack Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center to develop an animal propagation and rehabilitation program. The primary aim of the project is to teach and practice science process and technical rehabilitation skills. Through the project, students are trained in the raising of animals, following appropriate care and handling procedures, before releasing animals back to their natural habitat. The program provides a non-traditional, therapeutic, educational environment for special-needs students, while earning certification to be a rehabilitation professional.
