Jeanine Zitta

Zitta's "Bringing Children's Literature to Life" project uses instrument orchestration, drama, and movement to bring children's literature to life. As part of the project, students interpret a particular story and its characters through dramatic, expressive reading. Students then add sounds and movement, along with costumes, props, and sets to tell the story more effectively. The project shows students the interrelationships between various arts and gives them the opportunity to write and prepare visual presentations and showcase their performance talents.
