Lincoln K-8 Choice School

Kulzer’s innovative teaching idea, “Elementary Computer Science,” is focused on expanding the use of computer science in grades K-5 to include coding, robotics and 3D printing for all students. Lincoln K-8 Choice School is part of a nationwide pilot with Project Lead the Way to bring computer science instruction into elementary schools. Kulzer will engage students by offering project-based learning activities focused on real world problems, while also integrating with the school’s STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education. Kulzer hopes to eventually design and offer an opportunity for students in all grades to explore computer science and dive deeper into areas that spark their intellectual curiosity.
