Jackie Stevens

Stevens' "Our Future Grows" is a project that partners fifth-grade students with marketing professionals, timber industry officials and organizations, government agencies, and Mississippi State University to create a public awareness campaign aimed at informing citizens and private landowners about the need for timber reforestation. Students learn about career possibilities and hone interpersonal skills. Students also provide valuable information to private landowners which helps them make informed decisions about reforestation and wildlife management.
