H. Michael Winston

Winston's program, "Solutions," developed communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and self-discipline skills in students who attempted to solve community problems. Through an integrated curriculum of math, science, and English, students worked on actual problems from the community and then communicated solutions. Technical members worked with students by providing expertise and access to sophisticated equipment.
