Glena Schaible

Schaible's project, Gemini Mentoring Program, was developed to build personal and social responsibility in at-risk young women. Each student was paired with a dependable, mature woman from the community to act as their mentor. Through weekly and monthly programs, the students learn communication, conflict resolution and goal setting skills. In addition to these skills, they explored their own career interests and learned job-related skills.
