George Jones

Jones' project utilized a 60-acre land laboratory to develop a research based project to demonstrate to students the connections between science and the food industry through a livestock grazing program. Conducted in conjunction with local agencies and approximately 200 area farmers, the program established a learning environment that incorporated academic requirements, applicable business skills and environmental awareness.
