Gary Trojanowski

Trojanowski's "Molecular Biology in the Classroom" program gives students valuable hands-on experience using leading-edge laboratory equipment. In conjunction with the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University, students complete standard molecular biology laboratory experiments with equipment such as polymerase chain reaction machines, vertical protein gel boxes, and electrophoresis apparatus. The program culminates in the student creation of an independent molecular biology project. It allows students to do laboratory work at an advanced level, as well as teaches students to think critically and gain a better understanding of the world of science.
