"Ever After'ING" is Moore's winning, collaborative, arts-in-education program that partners the Booker T. Washington Magnet High School Dance Magnet with the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) education department. The program will begin with students participating in an academic syllabus and original choreographic works inspired by the fairytale illustrations of the late American painter and illustrator, Maxfield Parrish. After the initial phase, kindergarten through 12th-grade students from throughout the region will take part in art/photographic project assignments and competitions, academic work, lectures, and trips inspired by Parrish. They will also go on trips to MMFA where they will experience an exhibit, Fantasies and Fairy Tales - Maxfield Parrish and the Art of the Print, and the ballet, Ever After'ING. The ballet will provide them with specialized instruction in social studies, creative writing, literature, philosophy, visual art, photography, technical theatre, commercial art, and dance. Moore, who lives in Montgomery, plans to document the project in video digital format as a syllabus supplement and turn it into a touring production that could be performed across the region for various children.
