Frankie Hensley

Hensley's Nurturing Place project recognized that parents are a child's first teacher. It used two local cable access stations to present programs on how parents can better prepare their children for school and how they can improve their child's learning in school. By featuring a diverse group of people, including teachers, administrators, students and other community members, the program was able to present a wide range of helpful programming.
